ENG: These interventions have allowed me to reveal my emotions at a safe distance and show them publicly. At the time of my diagnosis, I got so lost in my pain that the only way out was to tear down the literal paper walls. The pressure was unbearable and the seed had to be broken. I knew I had to succumb to the earth or free myself. Living, creating, destroying, scratching, rubbing, stratifying and pushing materials on the surface to reveal beauty. This series Transmutation: Angels In Mexico is a direct expression of those moments and the awakening that follows.

ESP: Estas intervenciones me han permitido revelar a una distancia segura mis emociones y mostrarlas públicamente. En el momento de mi diagnóstico me perdí tanto en mi dolor que la única salida que encontré fue arrancar las paredes de papel; la presión era insoportable y la semilla tenía que romperse. Sabía que tenía que sucumbir a la tierra o liberarme; vivir, crear, destrozar, rascar, frotar, estratificar y empujar materiales en la superficie para revelar la belleza. Esta serie Transmutación: Ángeles en México es una expresión directa de esos momentos y del despertar que sigue.
